Description
The Taylor 324ce Grand Auditorium left-handed acoustic-electric guitar meticulously mixes tonewoods, construction and appointments for an enticing blend of playability, intonation and sound. The Grand Auditorium body shape makes for a versatile instrument that yields ample volume in response to light fingerpicking, and reacts to medium strumming and flatpicking with a clear, balanced sound across the tonal spectrum. The top, back and sides are made of solid neo-tropical mahogany, which is known for its meaty midrange and natural compression that smooths out strumming and picking techniques, as well as a clear and direct tonal character that stands out among other instruments.
The 324ce includes the Taylor Expression System 2 (ES2) electronicsthe heart of which is a patented behind-the-saddle pickup with three uniquely positioned and individually calibrated pickup sensors. Because the pickup doesn't sit under the saddle, the bottom of the saddle comes in full contact with the bridge, allowing all the nuance of the guitar's tone to come through clearly, whether playing acoustically or plugged-in. The ES2 operates through a proprietary 9-volt battery compartment and easy-to-use Volume and active Bass and Treble controls. Additional appointments include V-Class bracing for boosting volume and sustain, a tropical mahogany neck, West African ebony fingerboard and bridge, and satin black tuners. Comes with a deluxe hardshell case.
