Jackson Pro Series Signature Rob Cavestany Death Angel Electric Guitar Satin Black

The Jackson Pro Series Signature Rob Cavestany is the signature electric guitar of the renowned guitarist Rob Cavestany from the thrash metal band Death Angel. Known for his innovative and complex guitar work, Cavestany has been a prominent figure in the metal scene since the early '80s. His unique X-shaped guitar design, which he originally sketched on a napkin, became a reality in 1989 with a custom-built Jackson guitar that he has used ever since.

The Pro Series Signature Rob Cavestany model, which was previously available only as a custom order from the Jackson Custom Shop, features a nyatoh body with a deep C-cut inner lower horn for easy access to the upper frets. The guitar has a through-body maple neck with a scarf joint and graphite-reinforcement rods, providing exceptional stability and sustain. It is designed for high-speed playing, with a 12"-16" compound radius rosewood fingerboard, 24 jumbo frets, black shark fin inlays, and Luminlay side dots.

The guitar is equipped with an EMG 81 humbucking bridge pickup for powerful lead tones and an EMG HA neck pickup for a wide frequency response, offering clarity and warmth for both chording and single-coil snap. Other features include a three-way toggle pickup switch, a single volume control, Dunlop dual-locking strap buttons, and a Floyd Rose Special double-locking tremolo bridge. The guitar is finished in Satin Black with black hardware, black neck and headstock binding, and a pointed black Jackson six-in-line headstock with a black nickel Jackson logo.
