Description
The Alesis Prestige Artist 88-key Digital Piano features 88 full-size graded hammer-action keys that recreate the weighted feel of acoustic piano keys. With 30 multi-sampled voices with the ability to split or layer two voices simultaneously, including acoustic and electric pianos, organs, clavs and strings, the Prestige Artist serves up a sonic palette ideal for practice and performance. A custom-designed 50W speaker system generates a rich, full tone that fills the room.
Graded Hammer-Action Keys Provide Authentic Feel
The Prestige Artist's 88 keys use a graded hammer-action mechanism to simulate the heavier feel of bass keys and lighter feel of treble keys found on acoustic pianos. This graduated touch response helps players develop finger sensitivity and proper technique. The keys' ivory feel provides a textured, non-slip surface for comfortable play.
30 High Quality Voices with 256 Note Polyphony
With 30 multi-sampled instrument voices powered by 256 notes of polyphony, the Prestige Artist produces highly realistic piano and ensemble sounds. Its acoustic piano voices capture the complex harmonic interactions of hammers, strings, soundboards and amplifiers in world-class concert grands. Electric piano, organ and string voices provide additional tone options for layering and splitting.
50W Speaker System Delivers Resonant Tone
The Prestige Artist features a custom-designed 50W speaker system with two 25W speakers that generate a full, rich tone. Amplified sound resonates through the instrument's cabinet, creating an immersive playing experience. The speaker system's wide dispersion provides consistent sound quality regardless of the player's position. For private practice, front-facing headphone jacks automatically mute the speakers.
Practice and Play with Lesson, Record, Layer and Split Modes
The Prestige Artist offers modes for interactive practice and performance. Lesson Mode divides the keyboard for student and teacher. Record Mode captures and plays back performances. Layer Mode combines two voices for a thicker sound. Split Mode allocates different voices to the left and right keyboard halves. Reverb effects add ambiance and realism. An arpeggiator automatically plays chords and phrases.
