The Martin Custom Shop Special HD28 Dreadnought Bearclaw Sitka-Cocobolo acoustic guitar is crafted from hand-selected woods—premium bearclaw Sitka spruce for the top and cocobolo for the back and sides—by the teams at Martin and Guitar Center. While the Special HD28 delivers the historical look and fundamental sound of vintage Martins, its forward-shifted X bracing enhances the bass response, and the modified low-oval neck profile with a high-performance taper ensures outstanding playability. Additional appointments include antique-white binding, a polished cocobolo headplate with a gold CFM logo, East Indian rosewood side strips, diamonds and squares fingerboard inlays, and vintage-styled Grover machine heads.
