Description
Jackson Guitars brings metal players an affordable yet high-performance axe with the JS Series Dinky Arch Top JS22Q-7 DKA HT 7-string electric guitar. Featuring dual Jackson high-output humbucking pickups, this 26.5" scale extended-range guitar delivers a massive, biting tone ideal for metal and hard rock. Its graphite-reinforced maple neck and compound-radius amaranth fingerboard provide a fast, comfortable playing feel for intricate riffs and solos. The JS22Q-7 DKA HT's arched-top poplar body is lightweight yet resonant, with an aggressive shape that matches its tone.
High-Output Pickups Provide Aggressive Tone
The JS22Q-7 DKA HT is armed with a pair of Jackson's own high-output humbucking pickups, specially designed to provide the punchy, biting tone that metal guitarists crave. With hot, overwound coils, these pickups deliver distortion-ready output for high-gain amps and effects. The three-way blade switch allows selecting the bridge pickup for an edgy lead tone, the neck pickup for a warmer rhythm sound or both pickups together for a complex combination of the two.
Compound-Radius Fretboard Enhances Playability
The JS22Q-7 DKA HT features a 12" to 16" compound-radius bound amaranth fingerboard, providing the ultimate in comfort and performance. Near the nut, the rounder radius facilitates easy chording and rhythm playing. Further up the neck, the flatter radius allows for lower string tension when bending and prevents fretting out on big bends. The smooth, fast-playing neck also features 24 jumbo frets, piranha tooth position markers and a graphite-reinforcement rod for rock-solid stability under the tension of the low B string.
Arched-Top Body Delivers Attitude and Resonance
The JS22Q-7 DKA HT has an arched-top poplar body that looks as aggressive as it sounds while remaining lightweight and resonant. The arched top contributes to the guitar's projection and tonal depth. Stylishly contoured and comfortable to play, the sculpted body shape provides perfect balance and attitude.
Hardtail Bridge Provides Solid Tuning and Sustain
Instead of a tremolo, the JS22Q-7 DKA HT features a fixed hardtail bridge. The string-through-body bridge design provides exceptional tuning stability and sustain. Each of the seven adjustable saddles allow for precise intonation of the low B string and higher strings.
