Description
The Gibson Dave Mustaine Songwriter acoustic-electric guitar was designed in collaboration with Mustaine himselfthe legendary guitarist, vocalist, songwriter and founder of Grammy Award-winning and multi-platinum-selling band Megadeth, and one of the most influential metal icons and riff lords of all time. The Dave Mustaine Songwriter features a slightly thinner walnut body for playing comfort and a Sitka spruce top, with a cutaway for easy access to the upper frets. Its paired with a 24.75" scale mahogany neck and a 24-fret ebony fingerboard, topped with mother-of-pearl teeth inlays. Additional appointments include Grover Rotomatic tuners, a TUSQ nut and a higher-output L.R. Baggs VTC under-saddle pickup with soundhole-mounted Volume and Tone controls. Vic Rattlehead artwork is featured on the pickguard and on a mother-of-pearl peghead inlay, and it comes with a custom hardshell case.
