The 17043GYR trumpet combines the classic Apollo design of master trumpet designer Vincent Bach with modern trumpet making techniques to create a truly unique instrument worthy of the Bach name. The Bach Apollo trumpet follows the original model design with a few improvements. The 170 series features a medium-large bore with a unique two-piece bottom seam bell design using the classic 43 bell taper with a gold brass stem and yellow brass bell flare. This combination creates a sound with the depth and richness of gold brass with the brilliance and projection of yellow brass. The Apollo trumpet also included a lightweight body built on the one-piece valve chassis or the 180 Stradivarius model with brass inner and outer valve slides and a 6R reverse leadpipe for quick response, ease of play and enhanced agility.
